Who should attend?
The course is intended for administrators and developers that are responsible for configurating and supporting Proficy Plant Applications software within their organization.
Prerequisites:
Participants should have an understanding of basic manufacturing methods and terminology. Participants should be familiar with Microsoft Windows operating systems and personal computers. Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Internet Explorer will be useful.

Extended Description:
Proficy Plant Applications Fundamentals classroom training will allow the student to become familiar with the tools provided to configure and maintain Plant Applications software. This includes using the Plant Applications Administrator to configure the Plant Model, Product Model, Production Events, Variables, and User Displays. Students will also learn Report Server Administration and Web Client functionality. Students will learn to extract data from Plant Applications using the Excel Add-In and create reports that display results through the Plant Applications Web Server. Hands-on lab exercises are provided that guide student through the use of the Proficy Plant Applications development tools.

- Use the Plant Applications tools to maintain and optimize the production environment
- Describe Plant Applications architecture and design
- Define, Products, Production Events and Variables
- Create User Displays and enforce User Security
- Extract data from the Plant Applications database using the Excel Add-In and display results through the Plant Applications Web interface.
