Sigma-5 amps and motors (1st Image)

The Sigma-5 servo amplifier delivers the highest performance in the industry due its unmatched frequency response, reduced settling times and more precise control. In addition it provides a faster set up, simpler tuning, and vibration suppression. With a wide range of models and options to it can match your individual application requirements.

Servo Motors
The Sigma family of servo motors has taken the next technological step using high-resolution serial encoder feedback. Position information is transmitted to the amplifier allowing full error checking which eliminates position error caused by electrical noise and prevents runaway conditions. This all-digital feedback design enables the amplifier to automatically recognize the motor and optimize settings.

Rotary Servo Motors
AC brushless servo motor lines with speeds to 6,000 rpm and torques to 1,182 Nm (over 870 lb-ft).

Sigma-3 SGMCS direct drive motors (2nd Image)

SGMCS Direct Drive
The SGMCS servomotor line is designed for direct drive applications where the load is directly attached to the motor surface. Direct drive technology eliminates backlash, reduces the number of mechanical components, and provides a stiff mechanical system for highly dynamic applications.

Sigma-2 linear motors (3rd Image)

Linear Servo Motors
All Yaskawa linear servo motors feature plug-and-play connection with the Sigma-5, Sigma II and LEGEND amplifiers through use of automatic motor recognition and serial encoder technology. Yaskawa’s linear servo motors are supplied as components or an integrated slide.

SGMPH Sigma II
The SGMPH servomotor series has a medium inertia design with a flat profile providing the highest torque-per-length ratio available. These servomotors are well suited for applications requiring optimized load matching.
